Scholarship Sunday, April 21, 2013

On Sunday, April 21, 2013 Zion Church was proud to celebrate three of Norwood High School's students in it's Second Annual Scholarship Sunday. Scholarship Sunday is the culmination of the hardwork, dedication & faithfulness of our Scholarship Ministry Team under the leadership of Ms. Janet Winter. Other Scholarship Ministry Team members are Mr. Steve Boehner & Mrs. Evelyn Hoffmeister. Our thanks also to the former Mr. Carl Lindner who faithfully entrusted these resources to Zion Church only asking that we would invest again in the life of the City of Norwood. Through our Scholarship Ministry Team, we have faithfully done so! Throughout a difficult process of interviewing many, many worthy recipients, three top-notch scholars were selected to receive a financial scholarship toward the cost of their college/university studies. We are so proud of these three wonderful young adults! We celebrate their gifts, their talents, & their desire to put back into life through all their many blessings! We count it a privilege as a passionate congregation to share this part of their ljourney with them!
